Not to be confused with evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk is very sweet (and very sticky) and used primarily in desserts.

Sometimes the simplest recipes are the best. Only three ingredients are all you need to make a marinade that will yield a tender, delicious steak.

3/4 cup balsamic vinegar
1/2 cup olive oil
3 cloves garlic, coarsely chopped
Whisk together the vinegar, oil, and garlic in a bowl until combined.
Add your steaks to a plastic zip-top bag. Add the marinade to the bag and seal it shut. Turn the steaks to coat them well.
Place in the refrigerator and let marinate for 2-10 hours, turning the bag occasionally to ensure even saturation. Do not marinade for more than 10 hours or the meat may begin to lose texture.
Remove the steaks from the marinade and cook as desired. Discard the marinade.

Pumpkins aren't just for pies or Halloween decorations. These large, orange gourds - while naturally sweet - also work well in savory dishes. They pair well with poultry and pork (and especially bacon) and their creamy-when-cooked texture blends easily into soups.
This iconic whiskey is a "Jack of all trades" when it comes to cooking. Toss it in some pasta, as a savory dipping sauce, and even bake it into something sweet.

Great marinade! I think the person who thought it was too sweet maybe didn't use a good brand of balsamic? That makes ALL the difference. Turned out lovely for me.

if you use fresh garlic cloves the balsamic doesnt overpower the overall taste and if you pepper before cooking also makes it to die for i love this recipe and will enjoy using it again

The balsamic made the steaks too sweet. It just ruined my good steaks!
