Breakfast Cinnamon Puffs

ingredients
1/3 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 cup flour, sifted
1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 cup milk
Topping
1 stick butter, melted
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Place butter, sugar, and egg in a large bowl and mix.
In a separate bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, salt and nutmeg. Add dry ingredients and milk alternately, ending with milk.
Fill muffin cups 2/3-full and bake for 25 minutes until golden brown.
Roll the hot muffins in melted butter, then in the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
Hint: These are BEST when baked in mini-muffin tins.
