1 1/4 cup milk
3 cups bread flour
3/4 cup oats, quick or old-fashioned
2 tablespoons brown sugar, packed
1 1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
OR
1 1/2 teaspoon bread machine yeast
directions
Add all ingredients to machine in order as directed by your machine manufacturer.
Set for Basic/Specialty and desired Bread Color. Start bread maker. When done, turn off and remove bread from pan. Cool on rack before slicing.

I made this today and it smelled heavenly as it baked. The only problem I ran into was the size of bread to pick. Unless I'm blind (which I might be!) the recipe didn't say whether to pick 1-1/2 pound or 2 pound so I baked it as a 2-pound loaf. It didn't quite reach the top of the pail but looks very good. I'll let my husband be the judge since he requested it!

We made this recipe as directed other than using freshly ground Prairie Gold Wheat Berries in place of the bread flour. Wonderful aroma as it baked and delicious toasted w/ a sprinkle of cinnamon sugar on top! Definitely a keeper!
