  1. tormented_one REVIEW:

Recipe is missing liquid for sure! added 1/2 cup water which seemed to make it the right dough consistency. It's really more of an oatmeal wheat bread than a banana bread.

  2. Guest Foodie REVIEW:

I added a little bit more than 1/4 cup milk to make up for the recipe's lack of liquids. I think the wheat taste is a bit strong, and I don't taste any banana at all. If I use this recipe again, I would probably use less wheat flour and way more bananas.

  3. gsu REVIEW:

Good bread but not what was expected. Makes a banana wheat sandwich like bread, very dense.

Above comments about lack of liquid make me wonder- I have tried adding extra milk, but will be waiting to see. Perhaps the original poster could advise?

  5. Vian REVIEW:

This recipe is not bad, I made some adjustments to it I added 2/3 cup of water OR after mixing all the ingredient add water until you feel the dough is good 2 Tablespoon of oil 1 table spoon of brown sugar 1 additional Tablespoon active yeast 1/2 cup of walnut I baked it in my bread machine on sweet cycle and dark crust it came out wonderful

I'm trying it now, and I think that the original poster forgot the water ingredient. I'm standing by during the first mix!

Should there be more liquid in this recipe?
