- #92356

30-60 minutes
ingredients
1 sheet frozen puff pastry
1 cup finely chopped pecans, divided
2 rounds (10 ounce size) Gouda cheese, rind removed
directions
Thaw puff pastry as package directs. Cut thawed pastry sheet in half and roll out each half on a lightly floured surface to an 8-inch square.
Sprinkle 1/4 cup pecans in the center of each square. Place cheese rounds over pecans and sprinkle 1/4 cup pecans over each cheese round. Bring up the 4 corners of each square to meet at top center. Twist corners and mold pastry edges over cheese to enclose it.
Place the 2 cheese pastries in a greased pan. Bake at 400 degrees F for 25 minutes or until pastry is puffed and golden brown. Transfer to serving plates and serve hot.
