Check out this recipe for some designer-quality brownies! At only five ingredients, this dessert will be a major crowd pleaser...make sure to grab one for yourself before they're all gone! Try adding in some pecans or walnuts for an added level of flavor.
1 box (18.25 ounce size) chocolate cake mix
1/2 cup melted butter
3 eggs, divided
1/2 cup chopped nuts, optional
1 package (1 pound size) powdered sugar
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour a 9x13 baking dish.
Combine the cake mix, melted butter, and 1 egg. Stir in the nuts, if using. Spread the mixture in the prepared baking dish.
In a mixing bowl, combine the powdered sugar, cream cheese, and remaining eggs. Beat on medium speed with an electric mixer until combined. Spread over the chocolate layer in the baking dish.
Place the baking dish in the oven and bake at 350 degrees F for 50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the cake layer comes out clean.
Remove the baking dish from the oven and let the brownies cool in the pan before slicing. Store the brownies in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

This recipe is great. Tried it at our ladies meeting and the girls went nuts. The batter is stiff when you try to put it in the pan to spread but if you use your fingers to spread it out instead of a spoon it will work a lot better.

Tried this recipe several years ago and it's great. The batter is a little stiff and rather difficult to spread in the pan, but once this concoctions baked it is truly divine!
