Slow Cooker Barley With Mushrooms And Green Onions

ingredients
1 cup barley
1 can (14.5 ounce size) chicken broth
3 green onions, thinly sliced
4 ounces fresh or canned mushrooms, sliced
seasoned salt and pepper to taste
2 teaspoons butter or margarine
directions
Combine the barley, broth, green onions, and mushrooms in the crock pot. Sprinkle with salt and pepper as desired. Dot the top of the mixture with the butter.
Cover the crock pot and cook on low for 4-4 1/2 hours or until the barley is tender. Serve hot.
