2 cups flour 1 tablespoon baking powder 1 teaspoon salt 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese 1/2 teaspoon oregano 1/3 cup vegetable oil 2/3 cup milk 1 1/2 cup shredded Mozzarella, Monterey Jack or Cheddar cheese pizza sauce pizza toppings
directions
Combine flour, baking powder, salt, Parmesan cheese and oregano in a large mixing bowl.
Measure oil and milk into one measuring cup, do not mix. Pour all at once into flour mix. Stir until mixture forms a ball. Divide mixture into halves.
Roll each half between sheets of wax paper to fit a 15" pizza pan. Place crusts in pans and form edges. Bake before putting sauce on for 5 to 10 minutes. Spread with pizza sauce and sprinkle with shredded cheese as desired.
I followed this recipe and was a bit disappointed that the dough didn't come out as smooth as I hoped. It kept breaking - not sure if it was because I used canola oil instead of veggie - but I somehow managed to roll it out into a circle. Then after baking and eagerly taking the first bite, I was also disappointed to find out that the dough was too salty for me. Will try again next time, maybe with a 1/4 tsp salt? Very quick though, am glad no yeast is necessary.

it is a quick and easy dough. I'd use olive oil next time and maybe a little more salt. The grandchildren had fun helping and each one made their own pizza.
Pumpkins aren't just for pies or Halloween decorations. These large, orange gourds - while naturally sweet - also work well in savory dishes. They pair well with poultry and pork (and especially bacon) and their creamy-when-cooked texture blends easily into soups.
