This easy dinner just takes minutes to throw together in the crock pot. It's also easy to vary the ingredients. Try a meat-based pasta sauce with cheese ravioli. Or make it a vegetarian version. Add in a can of mushrooms or diced tomatoes to make it a chunky-style sauce.

1 jar (26 ounce size) pasta sauce
1 package (25 ounce size) frozen beef or cheese ravioli
1 can (8 ounce size) tomato sauce
1 cup water
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Pour half of the pasta sauce in the crock pot. Top with the frozen ravioli. Combine the remaining pasta sauce, tomato sauce, and water. Mix well and pour over the ravioli.
Sprinkle the cheese over the top.
Cover the crock pot and cook on low heat for 2-3 hours or until the ravioli are cooked through.
Serve hot, with additional cheese if desired.

This iconic whiskey is a "Jack of all trades" when it comes to cooking. Toss it in some pasta, as a savory dipping sauce, and even bake it into something sweet.
Pumpkins aren't just for pies or Halloween decorations. These large, orange gourds - while naturally sweet - also work well in savory dishes. They pair well with poultry and pork (and especially bacon) and their creamy-when-cooked texture blends easily into soups.
