Chilled Asparagus With Mustard Sauce Dip

ingredients
2 pounds asparagus, trimmed
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup sour cream
3 tablespoons spicy mustard
1 tablespoon finely chopped green onions
1/4 teaspoon pepper
directions
With a vegetable peeler, peel lower half of asparagus.
In a large skillet, bring 1/2-inch water to a boil. Add asparagus, cover and simmer for 3 minutes or until crisp-tender. Drain; cool under running cold water.
In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, sour cream, mustard, green onions, and pepper; stir until well blended.
Arrange asparagus and mustard sauce on a serving platter.
