Easy Asparagus Potato Chip Casserole

ingredients
1 can (No. 303 size) asparagus, drained
1 can (10.75 ounce size) cream of mushroom soup
1 jar (2 ounce size) chopped/minced pimiento
3 hard boiled eggs, chopped
1 small sweet onion, chopped (optional)
1/2 pound Cheddar cheese, grated
1 cup potato chips, crushed
2 tablespoons melted butter
directions
Place half of the asparagus on bottom of 2 quart casserole dish. Add half of the soup, half of the pimiento, half of the eggs, and half of the onion.
Sprinkle this with half each of the cheese and potato chips.
Repeat layers, sprinkle remaining chips on top and dot with butter. Bake in 350 degrees F oven for 25 minutes.
