2 pounds fresh asparagus white wine salt and pepper melted butter fresh chopped herbs as desired
Place asparagus in a cooking pot and add enough dry white wine to cover. Bring to a boil and gently cook until asparagus is almost tender. Drain and let sit to finish cooking until fork tender. Add some melted butter and fresh chopped herbs or lemon slices as desired.
