Shrimp & Corn Chowder

Amazing how some shrimp and corn can turn some creamy potato soup into something spectacular that tastes like you made it from scratch.

ingredients

1/4 cup chopped green onions
1 clove garlic, minced
1/8 tablespoon cayenne pepper
2 cans cream of potato soup
3 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 1/2 soup cans milk
2 cups frozen, cleaned raw shrimp
1 can (8 ounce size) whole kernel corn, not drained

directions

In saucepan, cook onions with garlic, cayenne pepper, and butter until tender. Blend soup, cream cheese and milk. Add shrimp and corn.

Bring to boil, stirring often. Reduce heat and cover. Simmer 10 minutes or until done.
