This tasty treat resembles what you might find dropped on a park bench or window sill by a local pigeon. Don't let the name scare you off, it's a highly addicting snack mix.

ingredients

5 cups favorite crunchy cereal
3 cups rice crisp cereal
2 cups skinny pretzels (you may need break them in half if they are long)
1 bag white chocolate chips
2 1/2 cups mini marshmallows

directions

Mix all the dry ingredients in a large bowl. Melt the white chocolate in the microwave for about 1 minute. Pour the melted chocolate over the dry ingredients and spread on wax paper to cool.

Once your masterpiece is cool, break into chunks that look like icky pigeon poop.

  1. Sherry Herron REVIEW:

I use Cocoa Puffs with rice krispies, pretzel sticks, mini marshmallows, white chocolate chips. That bit of brown changes the look!!! Still a very tasty treat! My adult friends LOVED it!!!!

  2. FitzTrantrum REVIEW:

I made this out of curiosity. The name not withstanding, I think this would make a perfectly good party snack for kids' and adult occasions alike (maybe don't tell your adult friends the name ;). It was sweet without being overwhelmingly so. Since the recipe only called for "your favorite crunchy cereal," I used Cookie Crunch and tried to grind them up a bit so that the bird "poop" wouldn't have perfectly round little chocolate chip cookies in it! It was a great choice.

  3. Guest Foodie REVIEW:

Made this for my daughter's birthday party. She is obsessed with birds right now so we had everything bird related. These are very cute. We used a stuffed animal bird as the centerpiece for the platter and put the "poop" around it.

  4. Charli REVIEW:

My kids love this!! I used a little bit more white chocolate to spread over the top. Plus used a little bit of dark chocolate, for a laugh!!

Very disappointed - not even close to looking like bird poop! Added a second bag of chocolate, still did no good. When done, looks like cereal, marshmallows, and pretzel sticks held together with chocolate. If you want something that looks like bird poop - this IS NOT the recipe...
