1 tablespoon coffee powder or instant espresso
4 teaspoons hot water
2 cups powdered sugar
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 cup butter, softened, cut into pieces
Combine the coffee powder and hot water in a large mixing bowl. Stir until the coffee is dissolved.

OMG!! LOVE this recipe, its so easy and delicious! A lot of the other mocha buttercreams I found had required milk and I didn't want to use milk. I like my frostings a little less sweet so I used only 3 1/2 cups of powered sugar but the I still got the perfect consistency to decorate my chocolate cupcakes. This is a keeper!!
