This grilled chicken is sure to please any crowd, whether they're beer lovers or not. So go ahead and put this recipe on your next dinner party menu.

1/2 cup peanut oil
1 teaspoon German or Dijon mustard
1 cup dark German beer
1/4 cup lemon juice
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon minced fresh basil
1 teaspoon minced fresh thyme
4 pounds chicken pieces
Combine the peanut oil, mustard, beer, lemon juice, garlic, salt, pepper, basil, and thyme in a large bowl. Mix until combined. Add the cut up chicken pieces to the marinade. Turn to coat the chicken completely in the marinade. Cover the bowl and let marinate in the refrigerator for a minimum of 2 hours. The chicken can marinate for up to 24 hours.
When ready to cook, heat a grill to medium-high heat. Grease the grill if needed.
Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard the marinade. Place the chicken on the grill and cook, turning as needed, until well browned, about 10 minutes.
Lower the grill to medium-low heat (or move the chicken to a cooler side of the grill). Cook the beer marinated chicken until done, about 10-15 additional minutes.

It may look like a sad little package shoved in the back of your freezer, but frozen spinach actually has a lot of culinary uses (and some may surprise you).

Hi there -We made this for an Oktoberfest party. My husband added a little honey to the marinade, let it sit overnight & slow cooked it on the grill. (We used skinless breasts.) The chicken was delicious & so tender. Yum!!! :-)
