Packing your lunch for work or school is a great way to make sure you know what you (or your family) is eating during the day. So many healthy foods are easily stored in a bag, lunch box, or thermos for easy transport.

Healthy lunch ideas include: sandwiches with low fat spreads and meats on whole wheat breads, fresh fruit, celery and carrot sticks, and dried fruit or trail mix.

If you have a refrigerator available don't forget healthy foods like low fat yogurt, chicken or tuna salad, or a lettuce salad with dressing on the side
