Blue Cheese Scalloped Potatoes

ingredients
6 large baking potatoes, peeled
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
8 ounces crumbled blue cheese
2 cups whipping cream
2 cups milk
3 tablespoons butter
directions
Cut potatoes into 1/8" thick slices. Arrange half of slices in a lightly greased 13 x 9" baking dish.
Combine salt, pepper and nutmeg. Cover slices with half each of seasonings, cheese and whipping cream. Repeat procedure with remaining potato slices, seasonings, cheese and cream.
Pour milk over potato slices; dot with butter. Bake, uncovered at 375 degrees F for 1 hour and 10 minutes or until bubbly and golden.
