Crescent rolls are baked with a cheesy chicken filling. This recipe makes a simple appetizer or snack.
30-60 minutes
ingredients
3 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 cup chopped black olives
1 onion, coarsely chopped
1 cup Cheddar cheese, shredded
4 ounces sour cream
4 cooked boneless chicken thighs, cubed
2 cans refrigerated crescent rolls
melted butter
grated Parmesan cheese
directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Cut the cream cheese into cubes and place in a food processor. Add the black olives, onion, Cheddar cheese, sour cream, and chicken. Process until well blended.
Separate the crescent roll dough into individual triangles. Roll out each triangle with a rolling pin until thin.
Place 2 tablespoons of the chicken mixture in the center of each triangle and roll up, starting at the wide end of the triangle.
Place the rolls on a baking sheet. Brush them with the melted butter and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
Bake at 350 degrees F for 25 minutes or until light golden brown. Serve hot.
