Tamale And Hominy Casserole

ingredients
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper
4 tablespoons oil
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can hominy
1 can beef tamales
1/2 cup chopped ripe olives
1 jar chopped pimientos
1 cup grated Cheddar cheese
directions
Saute onion and green pepper in oil. Stir in soup. Add drained hominy and enough reserved liquid to make of desired consistency.
Remove wrappers from tamales; cut into 1/2-inch pieces. Stir into hominy mixture. Mix in olives and pimentos. Spoon into 1 1/2-quart casserole. Sprinkle with cheese.
Bake at 350 degrees F for 15 to 20 minutes.
