Cheddar Bacon Baked Oysters

ingredients
1 pint shucked oysters (check for shells)
1/2 cup water
1 cup grated Cheddar cheese
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
2 slices bacon, cooked & crumbled
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
1/4 teaspoon dried basil
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon dried tarragon
directions
Combine all ingredients in medium deep baking dish. Place cheese on top.
Bake in 350 degrees F oven, uncovered for 30 minutes.
Spoon into small bowls. Can be used for entree or appetizer.
