6 eggs, separated
1 1/2 cup sugar
3/4 cup ground almonds
1 orange, grated rind and juice of
1 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
oil for pan
matzo meal for pan

Combine egg yolks and sugar in a bowl. Beat until fluffy and pale yellow. Add almonds, orange rind and juice, and walnuts. Mix until thoroughly combined.
In a separate bowl, beat egg whites until they form stiff peaks. Fold into the nut mixture.
Oil a 9" springform pan (non-stick if possible) and dust with matzo meal. Pour the batter into the prepared pan. Bake in a preheated 350 degrees F oven for 1 1/2 hours, or until a tester inserted in center comes out clean.
