Millet Porridge With Currants And Almonds

ingredients
1/2 cup millet
3 cups water
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup currants or raisins
3 tablespoons slivered almonds, toasted in a small skillet
butter or sour cream
directions
Rinse the millet. Bring the water to a boil, add the salt, the millet, and the currants. Simmer over low heat for 30 minutes.
Serve with the almonds and a pat of butter or sour cream.

Way too much water!!! found other recipe that calls for 2:1 ratio of H2O to millet.
