I wasn't sure about the 1/4 teaspoon of ketchup so I used 1/4 cup assuming it was a typo. I think that worked ok. The onion and pepper were a little crisp tender still so I think next time I'll saute them longer and not in the ketchup because I was worried about that burning. The ham was ok in this but I think it would be better with bacon.

Recipe calls for !/4 teaspoon of ketchup also 1 large onion chopped and 1 green bell pepper chopped. The directions start off ..... "In a large skillet, saute onions and bell pepper in ketchup....." Can you actually saute a large onion and a green pepper in 1/4 teaspoon of ketchup ???????
Pumpkins aren't just for pies or Halloween decorations. These large, orange gourds - while naturally sweet - also work well in savory dishes. They pair well with poultry and pork (and especially bacon) and their creamy-when-cooked texture blends easily into soups.
