No grill? No problem. This recipe can easily be made with a grill pan (or cast iron skillet) instead.

5 (8 ounce size) steaks
salt and pepper
4 ounces butter
3 medium shallots, peeled and minced
5 cloves garlic, minced
35 shrimp, peeled and deveined
3 ounces white wine
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 dash salt, or to taste
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
1 package (12 oz size) rice pilaf, cooked
5 lemon wedges
10 parsley sprigs
Preheat a grill.
Season the steaks with salt and pepper. Place on the grill and cook for 3 minutes per side. Remove to a platter and cover with foil (the steaks will continue to cook).
In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the shallots and garlic. Cook for 30 seconds, stirring constantly.
Add the shrimp to the butter. Cook, stirring to coat the shrimp in the butter, for 4 minutes. Add the wine and cook for 3 minutes. Stir in the lemon juice, salt, and parsley.
Place the steaks on individual serving plates. Top each with 7 shrimp. Place a serving of the rice along side. Drizzle some of the garlic butter over all. Serve with a lemon wedge and 2 parsley sprigs.
