ingredients
1 box Ritz crackers
1 1/2 cup graham crackers, crushed
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup butter or margarine
1/3 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup butterscotch chips
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
directions
Put graham crackers, brown sugar, white sugar, butter, milk in a saucepan, bring it to a boil. Boil for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add vanilla.
Place a layer of Ritz Crackers in a 13x9-inch pan and pour 1/2 of the mixture over it. Make another layer of Ritz Crackers and pour the remaining mixture. Add one last row of Ritz Crackers.
Over low heat, melt both chips and peanut butter. When melted, spread evenly over the top layer of crackers. When cool, cut into desired bars or squares.

It's great, but almost too sweet. I'd like to find a way to make it slightly more creamy - maybe melting chocolates or milk chocolate. Also, I realize it won't taste exactly like a Kit Kat, but it seemed a bit more substantial, rather than that crispy. With all that said, I would definitely make this again, and I'd make it for a crowd! It's great!
