2 packages dry tomato soup mix, * See Note
2 tablespoons paprika
3 cups self rising flour
2 packages dry Italian salad dressing mix
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 pound butter melted in pan

directions

* or cream of chicken or cream of mushroom.

Mix dry ingredients together and place some of mixture in a bag and add pieces of chicken and shake, then repeat again. Bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hour.

    There are parts of the recipe ingredients and instructions missing. Chicken is to be dipped into 2 beaten egg whites, then to flour mixture - repeat this twice. Brown chicken in hot oil or butter until golden. Place browned pieces on cookie sheet or pan in 350 degree oven. Don't crowd or stack the pieces. Then bake for the appointed time. I have used this recipe this way and it is good when prepared according to this method. I saw this being done on TV years ago.

    There appears to be part of the directions missing here; otherwise, what's that 1/4 pound of butter melted in a pan for?

    • : You place the chicken in the pan with the melted butter to bake.
