The name, vodka, comes from the Russian phrase zhiznennaia voda, or "water of life". It can be made from everything from potatoes to beets. It's considered to be fairly flavorless which makes it a great liquor for mixed drinks.

One of the most popular dishes at Impastato's restaurant. Made fresh and to order, with wine simmered shrimp in a lemon-butter sauce.

3 ounces white wine
16 shrimp, peeled, tail on if desired
3 ounces butter
3 tablespoons lemon juice
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 dash salt and pepper
2 tablespoons freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1 pinch bread crumbs
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
Heat the wine in a skillet over medium heat. Add the shrimp and cook just until the wine has evaporated.
Add the butter, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and garlic. Cook, stirring frequently, for 1 minute or until the shrimp is cooked through. Do not overcook the shrimp.
Remove the pan from the heat and sprinkle the shrimp with Parmesan cheese, bread crumbs, and parsley. Serve hot.

Not to be confused with evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk is very sweet (and very sticky) and used primarily in desserts.
Love buffalo wings? Get that same hot, zippy flavor in everything from deviled eggs to enchiladas. And of course: wings.

I used about 1 tbsp panko bread crumbs instead of a pinch and a clove of garlic minced
