ingredients
1/2 cup bourbon
1/2 cup maple syrup
2 cups heavy cream
1 1/2 cup salted pecan halves, toasted, chopped
1 1/2 teaspoon cornstarch, DISSOLVED IN
1 1/2 teaspoon water
directions
Combine bourbon and maple syrup in heavy sauce pan and reduce by half on medium high heat. Add heavy cream and reduce by half one more time.
Add the cornstarch and water combination to the simmering liquid. Stir constantly until it thickens. Add pecans and stir. Keep warm and serve over pork.
