Bogey Country Club Grandma's Apple Crisp

ingredients
1 cup oatmeal
1 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
1 cup butter
1 cup flour
1 1/2 cup granulated sugar
8 apples, cored and sliced
salt, to taste
cinnamon, to taste
directions
In a mixing bowl, combine butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Mix until butter is softened and the sugars are incorporated, but do not cream. Add the oatmeal and flour and mix until crumbly.
Put apple slices in the bottom of a 9- x 13-inch baking pan. Crumble the oatmeal mixture evenly over the apples, covering all. Then sprinkle with salt and cinnamon.
Bake in a 350 degrees F oven for 45 minutes or until the apples are tender and the topping is golden brown.
