ingredients
1 stick butter, softened
3 ounces cream cheese, at room temperature
1 cup flour
1 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 cup raisins
directions
Heat oven to 375 degrees F when you begin to roll out the chilled dough. For good results, line baking sheet(s) with parchment paper.
Blend butter, cream cheese and flour. Cover tightly and refrigerate overnight.
Next day, mix walnuts, sugar, cinnamon and raisins in a bowl.
Remove dough from refrigerator and divide into 4 parts. Roll each part into a circle on a floured surface. Cut each circle into 8 pieces.
Sprinkle each piece with filling. Roll from large end to point. Place on prepared baking sheet(s). Bake in preheated oven for 20 minutes.
Transfer to racks and cool. Store in airtight containers.
