Pumpkins aren't just for pies or Halloween decorations. These large, orange gourds - while naturally sweet - also work well in savory dishes. They pair well with poultry and pork (and especially bacon) and their creamy-when-cooked texture blends easily into soups.

Wonderful. I cooked 5 chicken breasts in a glas 9x11 pan in the oven with small amount of added water. After cooking, I easily cut up the chicken in the same pan then added mixtures per recipe. Because I used a small amt of water in place of broth and then added it to the chicken and broth already in the pan. Worked great; Quick clean up! Used my convection oven - total time right at one hr
