Ah, the unassuming envelope of onion soup mix. It's more than just for onion soup (or dip). It adds tremendous flavor (and convenience) in all these recipes.

ingredients
16 ounces lean ground beef (90%)
nonstick spray
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped green chilies
1 1/2 cup frozen corn
1 cup chunky salsa
3/4 cup reduced-fat cheddar cheese
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon cumin
1 cup crushed corn chips
directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
In a large skillet sprayed with nonstick spray, brown meat, onion and chilies. Drain off grease. Add corn, salsa, cheese, pepper and cumin.
Spray a 10 inch pie plate with nonstick spray. Place meat mixture in the pie plate and top with the crushed corn chips. Bake for 30 minutes, and cool 10 minutes before serving.
