Slow Cooker Sea-Pie with Pork, Beef, Veal

ingredients
1 pound diced pork
1 pound diced beef
1 pound diced veal
2 large sweet onions, peeled chopped
1/4 teaspoon cloves
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
salt, to taste
8 potatoes, peeled, washed and cut into pieces
2 1/2 cups beef broth
2 1/2 cups chicken broth
1 package double-crust pie pastry
directions
Mix the meat with the onion and the seasonings. Cover and keep in the fridge for 24 hours.
In a large seasoned crock pot, put half the meat, half the potatoes and half the dough. Repeat with the rest.
Make a hole in the center of the top dough and pour broth up to under dough level. Cook at 325 degrees F for 4 hours. Serve with pickled beets.
