Cooking corned beef is so easy in the crock pot. This recipe will give you the most tender and flavorful corned beef you've ever had!

4 pounds corned beef round (less fat than brisket)
spices from corned beef package
water
Place the corned beef in the crock pot. Sprinkle with the spices from the included package.
Add enough water to the crock pot to just cover the corned beef.
Cover the crock pot and cook for 4-6 hours on high heat (time will depend on thickness of corned beef and brand of crock pot).
Remove the corned beef from the liquid and place on a cutting board. Slice and serve.

Despite the simplicity this was the best corned beef recipe we've used. My family finally eats the leftovers!
Corned Beef Round is too dry when cooked to tenderness. Cook the brisket until fork tender, let cool, and trim the fat off down to 1/8th inch.
