The action-packed sauce is full of bright flavors from cilantro, red chile, and lime to turn sea bass fillets into a real treat that's sure to impress.
2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
1 1/2 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro
1 tablespoon chopped peeled fresh ginger
1 tablespoon minced shallot
1 small hot chile pepper, chopped
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 sea bass fillets (each about 3/4-inch thick)
Preheat the oven to 500 degrees F.
Combine the lime juice, soy sauce, cilantro, ginger, shallot, chile pepper, and half of the oil in a small bowl.
Place the remaining oil in a baking dish (9-inch size) and spread it evenly on the bottom.
Arrange the fish in a single layer in the dish and turn to coat it in the oil. Season as desired with salt and pepper. Spoon each fillet with a couple teaspoons of the ginger-lime sauce.
Place the baking dish in the oven and bake at 500 degrees for 12 minutes or until the fish is opaque in the center and flakes with a fork.
Drizzle the fish with the remaining sauce and serve immediately.

This was AMAZING!!! It was so east and flavorful. My husband said,'it was the best thing I've ever made!' It took longer than the time indicated to cook the fish.( I'm not sure our oven temperature is correct.) I sent this recipe to my good friends. Do you want to hear a compliment?
