Everything can be prepared a day or two before and refrigerated, then assembled at the last minute just before cooking.

A can of cream of mushroom soup can be a real dinner saver. It works great in casseroles and can turn into a sauce or gravy in a pinch.
Keeping a can of frozen orange juice concentrate in the freezer means you can make more than just orange juice. Try it in a variety of orange-flavored recipes.

My very, very picky husband likes this recipe! Kudos! There are so few things I can cook for him that he likes. He said "the cheese, eggs, and bacon all blend together perfectly"!
