- #99380
30-60 minutes
ingredients
2 cups Basmati rice flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 clove garlic
1 onion, small
1/4 cup raisins
apple juice
1 tablespoon curry powder
directions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Place the Basmati rice flour, baking soda and curry powder in a mixing bowl and blend together.
Peel and cut the onion and place in a blender. Peel the garlic glove and add to the blender. Add just enough apple juice to facilitate proper blending.
Cover the blender and blend at high speed until the onions and garlic are finely chopped. Stop the blender and add the raisins. Cover and run the blender at medium speed until the raisins are chopped into small pieces.
Pour the liquid ingredients into the mixing bowl and blend together with the flour mixture to the consistency of a pancake batter. If more liquid is needed, wash out the blender with a little apple juice and add as needed to achieve the proper consistency.
Place the batter on a nonstick or lightly oiled baking sheet and bake at 350 degrees F until slightly crisp (about 30 minutes).
This curried Basmati rice flat soda bread is great with a salad.
