It may look like a sad little package shoved in the back of your freezer, but frozen spinach actually has a lot of culinary uses (and some may surprise you).

Step back in time with this old fashioned cream cheese fudge. It's a creamy, nutty throwback that proves the best recipes are timeless.

1 package (3 ounce size) cream cheese, softened
1 teaspoon heavy cream
2 cups confectioners' sugar
2 ounces unsweetened chocolate, melted
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 dash salt
1 cup chopped nuts
Beat cream cheese and cream until smooth. Gradually beat in sugar. Add melted chocolate and blend. Stir in vanilla, salt, and chopped nuts.
Press into buttered 8- x 4- x 2-inch pan and chill. Cut into squares.
