Easy Cheddar Cheese Fudge

ingredients
3 cups semisweet or milk chocolate chips
1 can (14 ounce size) sweetened condensed milk
1/4 cup margarine or butter
1 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
3/4 cup sharp shredded cheddar cheese
directions
Place chocolate chips, milk and butter together and microwave at medium (50 percent) until chocolate is melted, 3 to 5 minutes, stirring once or twice. Stir in nuts and cheese.
Pour into well-greased 8-inch square baking dish. Refrigerate until set.
