German Style Beef Stew

ingredients
1 1/2 pound stew meat
2 tablespoons flour
1/2 teaspoon celery salt
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
16 ounces can tomatoes
2 cups carrots, thinly sliced
1/4 cup sherry
1/4 cup dark molasses
1/4 cup raisins
noodles, hot cooked
directions
Brown beef and add to slow cooker.
Combine celery salt, four, garlic powder, ginger and pepper. Sprinkle over beef. Combine carrots, tomatoes, wine, and molasses and pour over ingredients in slow cooker.
Cover and cook on low 6 to 8 hours.
Add raisins 30 minutes before serving. Serve on hot cooked noodles.

I was afraid that the meat might have to sweet a flavor with some of the ingredients but it turned out good. The meat was really tender and had a flavorful sauce to go over the noodles.
