Sugar Cookies With Nutmeg

ingredients
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup soft butter
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 egg
1 tablespoon milk
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/8 teaspoon salt
directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Beat together first six ingredients. Then add the rest.
Drop by spoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets. If you like you can top each cookie with a pecan half. Bake 10 minutes. Let cool on a rack to crisp.
