1/4 cup warm water (105-110 degrees F)

1/3 cup sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder

Bake at 450 degrees F for 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned.

They pair well with poultry and pork (and especially bacon) and their creamy-when-cooked texture blends easily into soups.
Not to be confused with evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk is very sweet (and very sticky) and used primarily in desserts.

My mother gave me this recipe many years ago and I lost it. Thank you for bringing it back to me. Instead of using tools to cut and mix, I used my hands. It's messy, but the results are the same. That's the way my mom told me to do it. I love feeling the dough form. I prefer to use butter rather than shortening. Thanks again!
