Garlic Parmesan Stuffed Mushrooms

ingredients
12 medium white mushrooms
1/4 pound Parmesan cheese, freshly grated
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon minced fresh Italian parsley
freshly ground black pepper, to taste
directions
Wipe mushrooms clean with a damp cloth and remove stems (reserve for stock, if desired).
In a small bowl, mix remaining ingredients well. Pack cheese mixture into mushroom caps by hand or with a teaspoon. Cover and chill until ready to serve.
