Pizza night is always a favorite, especially when you have great tasting pizza from some of the most popular restaurants.

This easy but delicious appetizer is made with cooked crab, mayo, herbs, bell pepper, and Dijon mustard for a nice "bite". It's piled on slices of Italian bread and broiled until bubbly.

6 ounces cooked lump crabmeat
1/2 cup diced red bell pepper
2 tablespoons mayonnaise, PLUS"PLUS" means this ingredient in addition to the one on the next line, often with divided uses
2 teaspoons mayonnaise
2 tablespoons chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley
1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives
1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
2 teaspoons grated Parmesan cheese
4 drops hot pepper sauce
16 slices Italian bread
Preheat broiler.
Pick over crabmeat to remove cartilage. In medium bowl, combine all ingredients except Italian bread; blend well.
Spread 1 T crab mixture on each bread slice; place slices on broiler rack. Broil 4" from heat 5-6 minutes, or until lightly browned.

Not to be confused with evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk is very sweet (and very sticky) and used primarily in desserts.
Ah, the unassuming envelope of onion soup mix. It's more than just for onion soup (or dip). It adds tremendous flavor (and convenience) in all these recipes.
