Ah, the unassuming envelope of onion soup mix. It's more than just for onion soup (or dip). It adds tremendous flavor (and convenience) in all these recipes.

ingredients
1 package (10 ounce size) frozen strawberries in syrup, thawed
1 1/2 teaspoon cornstarch
red food coloring, optional
1 1/4 cup graham cracker crumbs
1/4 cup sugar
1/3 cup margarine or butter, melted
3 packages (8 ounce size) cream cheese, softened
1 can (14 ounce size) sweetened condensed milk
3 eggs
1/4 cup lemon juice from concentrate
directions
In blender container, combine strawberries and cornstarch; blend until smooth. In heavy saucepan, over medium heat, cook and stir until thickened. Add food coloring if desired. Reserve 1/3 cup sauce; cool. Chill remaining sauce.
Heat oven to 300 degrees F. Combine crumbs, sugar and margarine; press on bottom of 9" springform pan. In mixer bowl, beat cheese until fluffy. Gradually beat in sweetened condensed milk until smooth. Add eggs and lemon juice; mix well.
Spoon half the batter into prepared pan. Spoon half the reserved strawberry sauce in small amounts over batter. Repeat, ending with sauce. With knife, cut through batter to marble.
Bake 50 minutes or until center is set. Cool. Chill. Remove side of springform. Serve with chilled strawberry sauce. Refrigerate leftovers.
Tip: For even marbling of strawberry sauce, be sure not to oversoften cream cheese.

I made this for our Christmas dinner this year, what a fantastic recipe! Rave reviews from all our guests, and so easy to make, will definately be making it again!
the 5 stars above are from me. I used fat-free cream cheese and light frozen strawberries and it turned out fabulous! Not too difficult, either.
