ingredients
1 package (18.25 ounce size) white cake mix
1 envelope (2 ounce size) whipped topping mix
4 eggs
1 1/2 cup cold Concord grape juice, divided
confectioners' sugar
directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour a 10-inch tube pan.
In a large mixer bowl, combine cake mix, whipped topping mix, eggs and 1 cup grape juice. Blend until moistened. Beat 4 minutes at medium speed.
Pour into prepared pan. Bake for 45 minutes or until cake tests done. Cool in pan for 15 minutes. Turn onto wire rack.
Using a metal skewer or straw, poke holes in surface of cake. Carefully spoon remaining grape juice onto cake until it is absorbed.
Cool cake. Sprinkle cake with confectioners' sugar before serving.
