Slow Cooker Waldorf Astoria Stew

ingredients
2 pounds raw beef sirloin, cut into cubes
2 cups peeled and cubed potatoes
2 cups peeled and chopped carrots
2 cups diced celery
1 package (10 ounce size) frozen pearl onions
1 can (16 ounce size) whole tomatoes, undrained
2 tablespoons dry minced onion
3 tablespoons quick cooking tapioca
1 tablespoon sugar
1 can (10.75 ounce size) tomato soup
salt and pepper, to taste
directions
Combine all the ingredients in a 6 quart or larger crock pot.
Cover and cook on low heat for 5-7 hours or until the beef is cooked and the vegetables are tender.
Stir and adjust seasoning as needed before serving.
