Mexican Burger Casserole

ingredients
2 pounds ground beef
2 small onions, chopped
1 can chili with beans
1 package nacho cheese flavored tortilla chips
1 pound Colby cheese, shredded or grated
1 dash garlic powder
1 can (8 ounce size) tomato sauce
directions
Cook ground beef and onion together, sprinkle with garlic juice/powder. When done, add chili and tomato sauce.
Pour corn chips into bottom of baking dish, break into smaller pieces if necessary, and pour meat sauce over them.
Top with shredded/grated cheese and bake at 350 degrees F for 15 to 30 minutes (until cheese is melted).

Since I cook regularly it is not surprising that I made this dish. It was so easy and the flavor was so good I came back the next week to post a comment. I am cooking for 3 very finiky eaters and they all loved this dish and it allowed us to have something different.
