ingredients
  
Cake
2 cups sugar
2  eggs
2 cups flour
2 teaspoons soda
1 can (20 ounce size) crushed pineapple
  
Icing
1 cup sugar
1/2  stick butter
1/2 cup milk
directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. 
 Blend cake ingredients together well. Pour into 13 x 9 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for 25 to 30 minutes. 
 Make icing: Boil ingredients until bubbles appear. Put over cake. Place in broiler until lightly browned.
